The setting
A screened porch two blocks from campus with big tables, fast wifi, outlets everywhere, and chai made the long way โ whole spices, fresh ginger, simmered milk, zero shortcuts. Quiet hours are real: laptops welcome, phone calls banished to the sidewalk. Finals week we run extended hours and the good cookies come out.
